CORPUS CHRISTI – The USS Lexington Museum will once again welcome the Corpus Christi Hooks as they partake in a special batting practice on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier on Saturday, May 28 at 11:00 a.m.
Select Hooks players and guests will compete to see who can launch the longest shot off the flight deck toward Corpus Christi Bay. The event is part of the team’s Blue Ghosts Weekend celebration, during which the Hooks will take the field as the Corpus Christi Blue Ghosts from May 27-29, wearing special edition jerseys and caps.
Admission to the batting practice event aboard USS Lexington follows the pricing of daily admission to the museum:
• General Admission – $18.95 • Youth (13-17) – $16.95
• Military – $14.95 • Children (4 – 12) – $13.95
• Seniors – $16.95 • Children (3 & younger) – Free
Fans interested in purchasing tickets to any of the baseball games during Blue Ghosts Weekend can visit the Corpus Christi Hooks website at www.cchooks.com. Visitors that show their Hooks tickets for Blue Ghost Weekend will receive $3 off their admission price to the museum. LEX visitors will also receive $3 off their Hooks tickets by showing their museum receipt at the Hooks box office.
