Help enhance the experience for our visitors

USS Lexington’s historian accepts memorabilia, artifacts and related items for the Museum’s collection. These items are carefully catalogued and stored for future use in exhibits and for research that enhances displays throughout the ship.

EXHIBIT DEVELOPMENT

Exhibit Development is a continuous journey for the Museum, and planned future exhibits include:
  • “Women of the Navy” Exhibit (Uniforms, Dog Tags, Photographs, Stories)
  • World War I and II Women’s Navy Uniforms
  • Letters From Home
  • “Rosie the Riveter” Artifacts
  • Service Memorabilia from USS Lexington Former Crew
