Military Special Events Policies

1. Events are free of charge for any Military Ceremonies. (Example – Retirements, Reenlistments, etc.) Guests coming on board for a ceremony will not be charged unless they wish to tour the ship either prior to or following the ceremony. These guests will then be charged our group military admission rate.
2. Events must take place Monday – Friday only between the hours of 0900 -1000.
3. We provide chairs, stage, 2 podiums, 2 microphones, a projector and our sound system. We do not have bullets, bells, or carpet.
4. Group MUST send a work party to setup and tear down the chairs.
5. Set-up and Rehearsals can be done the day prior to the ceremony if available; however, they will not begin until 2 hours prior to our closing. We close at 1700 – set-up may begin at 1500.
6. Street side parking is available or guests may park in the Lexington parking lot at the rate of $5.00 per vehicle. Tokens are available at admissions.
7. No food or beverage may be brought on board. Catering requests may be considered.
8. Lexington reserves the right to place the ceremony in a location other than the Hangar Bay.
9. Small ceremonies of 30 guests or fewer that do not need set up for their ceremonies are welcome on our Flight Deck all year round.

Blackout Dates / Times

1. No Saturday or Sunday Military Ceremonies.
2. No Fridays in April. Fridays in March and May might be closed due to large school groups that may be on board.
3. Limited Events from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Those Events will be on a first come, first served basis.
