UPCOMING TEMPORARY CLOSURE AT USS LEXINGTON
Museum closed all day on Saturday, November 21, 2020, and will reopen on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at 1:00 p.m.
CORPUS CHRISTI – The USS Lexington Museum will be hosting a special event with Professional Bull Riders (PBR) and will be closed to guests all day on Saturday, November 21. The Museum will reopen on Sunday, November 22, at 1:00 p.m.
PBR has bucked bulls in some unusual, highly visual locales, but may have outdone itself this time. A bull riding arena will be constructed on the flight deck of USS Lexington by bringing in 300 tons of dirt and steel and more than 15 miles of copper and fiber optic cables to support the event and television broadcast. The event will air Sunday, November 22, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. Central CBS, following Sunday’s NFL football game.
Roads around the USS Lexington Museum will be closed to accommodate the production. The event is closed to the general public, but PBR is offering exclusive viewing for VIP guests and ultimate experience ticket packages. Ticket packages are available for purchase at PBR.com.
Tickets are not being sold through the USS Lexington Museum.
