The USS LEXINGTON Museum offers visitors a variety of tour routes with something of interest for everyone. Routes include the Hangar Deck, Flight Deck, Bridge, Foc'sle, Captain's and Admiral's Quarters, Sick Bay, Galley, Engine Room and more.
LEXINGTON'S collection of 19 vintage aircraft include an SNJ Texan, N3N Yellow Peril, F2H-2 Banshee, TF9J Cougar, KA-3B Skywarrior, A-4B Skyhawk, F-4A Phantom II, TBF Avenger, AH1G Cobra Helicopter and an F-14A Tomcat.
For a uniquely thrilling experience, take a ride on LEXINGTON's Flight Simulator where you will find yourself in the pilot's seat of a fighter jet through the wizardry of state-of-the-art video projection and hydraulic movement. The cost is $4.00 per person.
A visit to the USS LEXINGTON now includes an experience unequaled in this part of the country - a film in a large format theater aboard a WWII aircraft carrier. Sit immersed in a 30x44-ft screen with six channel digital surround sound in the new and exciting Joe Jessel MEGA Theater.

Touring the entire ship takes approximately two hours and includes climbing steep stairways, so comfortable clothing and shoes with non-skid soles are recommended. Tour routes are now air conditioned.
The hangar deck is handicap accessible and includes exhibits, the MegaScreen theater, restrooms, the gift shop and the food court. A video showing different areas of the ship is played on the hangar deck throughout the day.
Tours are self-guided with volunteer guides posted at various locations throughout the ship. Personal tour guides are available for an additional fee of $25 per guide (limit 20 per tour group). Arrangements must be made prior to arrival.
The Hangar Deck is handicapped accessible and there is no charge for disabled individuals.
The Museum is open seven days a week except Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. Regular operating hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, the museum is open until 6:00 p.m.
